The Pittsford Democratic Committee (PDC) serves the people of the Town of Pittsford and of the Village of Pittsford. PDC is a member of, and operates in conjunction with, the Monroe County Democratic Committee, Rochester, New York, and in complience with MCDC rules and by-laws. MCDC's website is
www.monroedemocrats.com. Statement
We believe in honest, fair, transparent and effective government. All Town Board discussions need to be "on the record" and not in private.
We wish to create a balance of parties and points of view that will give Democrats in Pittsford fair and equal representation in Village and Town positions.
In addition to local Pittsford issues, PDC recognizes its role in a wider circle of government. Thus, PDC strives to be an active presence regarding county, state and national issues and elections. "PDC Draft Platform April 6, 2012.pdf" is available at the bottom of this page for your review and comment. Click the name to open it in your Adobe Reader. Thank you.
